Graphic data and
imaging have been among our strong fields in addition to the communication
and network fields. We have contributed to the development of a
digital image society by creating digital broadcasting equipment
(commissioned by broadcasting stations) and our own MPEG encoder
products through full use of our core technologies such as image
signal processing technology, encoder-related technology, circuit
designing technology for high-definition and satellite broadcasting,
and image transmission and communication technologies. Now, the
opportunities for using digital images are going to expand infinitely.
TV broadcasting is going to be shifted from analog to digital in
full-scale due to the commencement of terrestrial digital broadcasting.
Digital images are delivered not only from broadcasting stations
but also on the network. Image data processing is used by families,
and in the medical and security fields thanks to the expansion of
the multimedia network. We at CSR respond to everyone's digital
